Purchased the A + D set of this. I've primarily used Jargars from the very beginning. I've tried Larsens for couple of years, and recently, Evah Pirazzi. I wasn't quite satisfied with the sound, and decided to give this set a try before I went back to Jargar. This set has produced the most rich sound I've ever gotten from my instrument, especially on my D. Probably the best upgrade I've made on my instrument. I highly recommend you give these a try if you haven't yet.

The A string broke while installing. While I was slowly tuning it up to A = 440hz, it snapped before even hitting G. Not worth the money wasted, and Amazon refuses to return, refund, or send a new one. They state that the original vendor, Thomastik-Infeld, is responsible, but Thomastik-Infeld is saying Amazon is responsible for it. Let it be known now that Amazon is not an authorized distributor or vendor for these products. Ordering this kind of item through Amazon will make things much harder on anyone.
