Definitely recommend for older kids, my 5 year old has pinched his hand a couple times on the handle when pulling to reload.

My kids broke this pretty quickly, but that’s not unusual with them so ymmv. I didn’t understand at first that it just fires one dart at a time out of the top. When I was ordering it I thought there was a built in magazine within the toy, but it’s just like a one-shot dart thing. Definitely was entertaining while it lasted, and if your kids are gentle on toys I doubt you’d have an issue with breakage.

I like nothing about this toy.the price is too much for a toy that does nothing. And u can only shoot one bullet at a time. $39.99 really
