- Easy installation: Firstly disconnect the power supply, rip the newly installed thermostat from the wall, untie all the wires, unscrew the mounting plate, then fit the cover plate, align the mounting plate with the cover plate and refit all the parts.

I was surprised I couldn't find one of these at a local hardware store. It was nice to get two size options. I used the larger of the two to cover the exposed area after a thermostat change. I think it looks just fine! I hope it will take paint well when I finally pick a color for that room.

I like how this came with 2 different size plates so that I could cover up the damage on the wall from the previous thermostat that wasn't installed very well.
