Used these to attach to the bottom of patio furniture to attach wheels so that I can make the furniture moveable. They fit perfectly inside the holes that were already there so it was minimal work. And then by matching the thread to the thread of the bolt in the wheels, it made it very easy to attach the wheels to the furniture. Let's see how they stand longevity and resistance to rust since they are sitting outside in the patio. Very happy with this implementation.

Bought M6-20mm inserts. The internal threads cast and overly loose at first. About 15mm in the screw starts ti bind. They feel like the pitch is slightly off or maybe burrs. Will work, but, could be better.

The threads on these inserts are quite rounded and don't engage adequately when used in hardwood. Other inserts I have used in the past had threads that protruded out much further and were sharp, enabling you to thread the insert into the wood. These inserts? Not so much.
