This tool is awesome for putting a taper on your arrows. Does both knock and point. I used one for a few years before the blade was getting worn out, so for a few bucks I replaced it. I've only tried soft wood arrows (mostly cedar), not sure how it would do with a harder wood like ash. It's very intuitive to use, but the process is a little slow and a workout for your hands. If you try to go to fast, I've had tapers come out slightly off center. I will definitely continue to use this product

No instructions, so it took some trial and error to figure it out which was the tip end and which was the nock end... but it works.

Seventeen dollars. Would have been overpriced at 5.00. Cannot remove blades for resharpening. I am surprised 3 Rivers has their name on it.

This device is essential if your shooting cheap Chinese arrows or building your own arrows from blanks. I’ve had one like this for years made out of aluminum. Somehow I lost it!This item is made in the USA. But it’s plastic. The blades are permanently fused into the plastic. So you cannot remove them to sharpen them. Probably a necessary thing in todays liability climate.This is a convenience item. Good for repairing a few arrows. Were I making a lot of arrows I’d use the angle jig on my bench disc sander.

Works great! Make sure you get the right size for your shafts plus finish! No way to resharpen so disposable once dull, but I have had great luck with these.

Design is amazingly similar to a crayon/pencil sharpener, only THEY WORK! This product made it about 5 minutes before returning it. Put simply it’s not functional for the intended purpose at all.
