Switched from a thrush welded to a thrush hush with a noticible reduction in noise while driving. The idle sounds roughly the same, but I can drive at night without upsetting the neighbors. This muffler is more restrictive but I also gained some much needed low end torque on my S10 2.8L V6.

I had previously removed my cats and all resonators leading to a Flowmaster resonator at the end. Holy mother was this loud. I added 1 more Flowmaster resonators in the middle and nothing. I then decided to get a quiet sporty muffler and this one was perfect. My start up in the morning is back to quiet. The muffler is pretty quiet unless u floor it. I love it now my Audi is back to normal and I still have the all the power.

This is at least as quiet as the factory muffler was. If you want to make your car very quiet, this is a great cheap option. Seems very sturdy and well made.

Put this thing on an 07 scion tC. It had already been swapped to a Spec D kit that had of course rusted apart. I hate loud exhaust and this is still loudish at wide open throttle high rpm but you can just cruise and it sounds very mellow. Pretty sure the cat has been gutted so I'm not complaining. It sounds great and isn't to ricey.

Easy to install, with the description was better... Had to read comments for inlet/outlet size. Works great though and very quiet, sounds mostly stock with a slight rumble

Added this to 1997 f150, PO added aftermarket dual exhaust kit that rotted away, this in addition to a dual pipe system I orderd is what I installed but only used half of, single out, made my v8 sound quiet and I expect close to stock. Left me with a second pipe on the other side to add should the pipes I ordered, aluminized steel rot like the aftermarket system PO added..This muffler isn't loud, no droning, etc I'm happy I'd imagine if all you needed was to replace stock muffler this woudl be a good OE replacement but not having experienced the OE setup I couldn't say for sure.I no longer recal if mine arrived orange as pictured or bare, I painted mine.

These classic mufflers are built well. They make some interesting tone at higher rpm, but rumble/drone a bit much at low rpm everyday driving. Not great for anything with automatic transmission unless you like it sounding like really bad mushy shifting drone.These can be added to an existing exhaust system as a resonator if you really like quiet exhaust. Added to vans and trucks it takes away almost all noise.

This muffler is not 26" instead more like 19 including inlet and outlet pieces. Description says 26. Just a heads up
