We already have an attached ladder on our van, but my husband doesn't feel comfortable walking on the roof rack. He's 6'9", and 240. He feels top heavy up there. He likes using thus ladder more, the wing like support makes it versatile. It is a bit heavy, but collapsed down small enough to slip under our platform bed.

Sturdy roof access allowing multiple access points. Ladder is a bit heavy but the quality is worth the extra weight. Stores compactly in van solving the permanently installed ladder dilemma.

This ladder is very well made. I use it for my van, it gives me the ability to get to things on both sides

It's an overall good ladder. The only defect is the rubber feet wear out too quickly.

5 stars are not enough. Well worth the price. Easy to operate. Fits nicely behind the seat in my camper van.

I was so psyched to get this ladder for our van.Once we got it, we realized it was missing the rubber end caps for the ladder so it won't scratch the van. No big deal, these higher end outfitters like Thule always have extra parts, and they'll just pop it in the mail.Apparently, not with this product. We were told that it's made overseas and shipped complete, so no extra parts available. Which means, if you leave a small piece behind at the campground, too bad. The only way to get a replacement is to buy a whole new system. Lucky for us, we discovered this early and returned it. What a hassle though.
