Very sturdily built. Tight tolerances on the fitment of both the lid and the boiler. I like this product a lot. I have used it for pasteurizing and reducing liquids both and it has held up exceptionally well..

This pot was as described, but actually better than described. They didnt mention the fact it actually had an aluminum clad bottom for better heat distribution on the outside pot. Or-- maybe they did. If that is what they meant by the "induction-ready" point in the description. I have that on another large stainless steel pot, and it is a very good point. That was a surprise. The steel is sturdy, and the handles well attached. Only issue I had was the seller shipped it via UPS in the store display box, no other box for protection while in shipment, and the pot was dinged in shipment (big dent), but as the dent is cosmetic only and doesnt affect the use of the pot, I am going to live with it. At least I wont have the worry of putting the first dent into it. *GRIN*

I am impressed with the quality of this double boiler. It’s heavy duty and takes a short time on medium heat to bring my goat milk to temperature. Easy to clean. It’s going to last my life time. I am glad I spent the extra money.

Like Goldilocks- the other double boilers we considered were too big or too small, but this was just right. High quality product, perfect for my husband's cheese making. Clean up was easy. Nice sturdy box, made it just fine in shipping.

This is made under us ,as just about everything is but I got to say it is made really tough the shipper just won't put them in another box, will there was not much left of the box it came in but there is no dents that I can find anywhere. I just don't know way FedEx isn't used, they take care of everything I order, and yes it is only about 7.5 qts. If you get one of these you will be very pleased I'm thinking of getting another one. If you don't won't it to burn you want this. Well made. Just hard to find good brunswick stew anymore but I do rember the old Granger and Snell, it was the best. Dobbs BBQ has lost it. I can only rate it 4 as you can only love people.
