If you own a TI 84 CE Rechargeable Calculator and the screen is flashing then the battery is old and needs replacing. In just a few minutes you unscrew the back panal and replace the battery. Nice and easy. No more flashing screen and the calculator accepts the charge. Problem solved. It even comes with a tiny Phillips head screwdriver. A great value!

I ordered this for a TI Nspire CX CAS. The listing said it would fit it. It appears that it may only fit later models as the battery is completely different from the one that was in the calculator. The listing needs to be updated

My daughter went to get her TI-84 CE after a couple of months of no use and it would not work and would not charge. When she plugged it in it would flash with an error message of "validating OS". I pulled out the old battery and it looked like it was about to explode. I got this new battery, put it in the calculator, and everything works great.
