Super product and works as described. I am using it on a small A5 size pamphlet with 29 pages of 21 pound paper with a 65 pound front and back cover. The punch has settings to match A5 paper size AND comes with some black 5/16 inch comb binders

Works well for both punching the holes and putting on binders.

This unit works pretty well. It’s Certainly well worth the price! I had a small project to do and STAPLES wanted about $450.00 to bind it up. I bought this unit, Purchased the Paper & Card Stock for the front & back of my Directory, printed the booklets myself, (On my Laser Printer) and wound up spending about $140.00 total on the project, INCLUDING THIS MACHINE!!! The only point of caution would be, the instructions, I believe, states you can ‘Punch’ about 14 sheets of paper at a time. Although the unit seems fairly sturdy, after trying the Maximum recommended number once, I backed off and used ½ the recommended sheets. I may have been too cautious but I wasn’t sure the machine could handle it. In the end, I finished my project, The Directories looked GREAT, they were easy to assemble, and I saved a ton of money! And besides, Next time I’ll be ready to go since I now have the machine and I’ll save even More Money! You can’t beat that.BTW…You might want to watch the video that is attached to the add that demonstrates how to use the unit! A picture is worth a thousand words in this case!

Purchased this binding machine to help keep my notes and other things together so I don't lose them. It was a little confusing to me at first on the comb ends on how to place them on the machine. Once I figured it out it was pretty easy. Just make sure you decide how many holes you want before punching. I had to trim off a couple of the ends before realizing I had to many holes for what I wanted. Will use this for our church directory.

Bought the binder for a real estate office and it works perfect for creating market analysis. Very good value for the money and has been a great addition to the office supplies. We are over put it on the bottom shelf and if it’s perfectly.

If you aren't needing making a large numbers of binding daily then this is your best choice. It is cheapest on the market (at least when I got it) and it works! It is not easy to cut 15 sheets at once, but probably around 7 at a time. The punchers aren't very sharp I think, so you will be faster and better off doing around 7-8 sheets at s time. On thinner copy paper, you can go up to 12 sheet. The thicker paper is definitely around 7sheets only. The front/back covers that protect back/front I punch as two sheets at a time.It is easy to attach the handle and seriously either for organizing your school prints (textbooks, class notes, documents, etc) or business stuff, this is totally enough. If you need industry strength that needs to be used for hundreds of sheets a day, this may be not strong enough. Otherwise, it is a great addition to your home office or small business office.

I wanted this product to work. I bought all the supplies to make user manuals for a new program. Printed them and started punching.First, the punching takes a bit of time, 12 sheets max. The punch collector on the bottom us useless. After one manual, I had punch tabs all over my desk that resembled a well-known election ballet in Florida. It was a mess! The handle is weak and the machine actually "flexes" when you pull down to punch. Very weak design and flimsy operation.Second, I tried punching 12mil clear sheets. They punched with a little bit of effort but getting them out was nearly impossible. The punches stayed attached to the clear sheet and you physically have to "rip" the cover out from the machine.Trying to get them into the tabs is a feat in and of itself. It takes effort and patience as the machine "holder" that holds the binding open moves around a lot. With the flex of the binding in the machine itself (can't hold the binding open steady at all), it's very difficult to align the holes up for the tabs in the binding.Unfortunately, this machine is more of a headache than it's worth, and the sad part is, I needed it for a project and it took way longer than it should have. It's too used to be returned so it'll have to do but won't get used often, unfortunately. With so many supplies, I think I'll be searching for a sturdier machine. You get what you pay for, I guess.

It's not bad for the price. I had another one I paid a lot for, which lasted years. This one is less sturdy and I doubt it will last long with my usage. That said, it's light, which I like, so that's good if you want to put it away. If it were not for the tray, I'd be much more enthusiastic, but I hate vacuuming after every use, so I tape it in place. Empty tray frequently. Keep tape handy.

Quedamos satisfechas con el equipo de trabajo que solicitamos, una máquina de encuadernación o engargoladora como la conocemos, práctica, sencilla, ligera y fácil de usar. Muy recomendable.

This tool works beautifully. It's a quality product that is mostly metal for the mechanical parts with little plastic. It was easy to assemble and easy to operate. I appreciated that it includes a starter pack of combs. The cut is very clean and consistent. Documents bound have a very professional and polished look.I had to watch the video twice to get the hang of the binding mechanism. It's easy once you know which way to put in the comb.Tips for usage -Test run - before yoy are about to bind documents, I recommend practicing before you bind your document so you can ensure you line up the holes where you want it and there are no blockages.Max paper load - I punched about 6 sheets at a time, when I punched about 10 sheets of the paper I was using, it got stuck and I had to clean it out. Worked fine after that.Note - i bought the "used" version from Amazon. Avoid. I was not "like new" and clearly damaged and missing the combs. I bought a new one (which is what I should have done the first time) and ot works as expected.

I bought this to bind photo calendars. The hole punch is good for three sheets of 220g photo paper. Binding is a real pain due to a design fault (visible on the picture if you know what to look for). The catches that hold the paper are mounted too far to the right so when engaged with the binder, the paper does not lie flat at the right hand end. It was possible to overcome this by removing the screws that secure the cover to the base plate so that I could slide it to the right. Hardly ideal! If you only use smaller paper sizes , there shouldn't be a problem.
