Great sharpener and it does not break the pencils. The lid actually stays on so no more mess in my son's pencil pouch. The color also makes it easy to find in the pouch.

A lot of manual sharpeners are cheaply made, but this one seems to hold up pretty well. Still sharp after a few months and doesn’t make a mess either.

Sharpens pencils effortlessly. Bought for the Ticonderoga ‘my first’ pencil. Fits barrel size and does the job easily. Hope this stays sharp for long time. Price a bit high for product but will be worth it if it lasts long and keeps doing it’s job well.

This was probably not more that a couple of bucks to produce yet it was almost $10. I only bought it because it was hard to find one that actually fits the large pencils for preschoolers.

This sharpens my pencils very well and it’s great that it catches the shavings in the container. The only thing I don’t get is the cover on the top. It pulls up, but it does not really bend and I don’t know why they made it like they did. I’m sure it will break in short matter of time.
