**Update**While I still like this product in theory, there is a big problem. With time, this product begins to fail. My pouch has no obvious damage to it, but the car door opens automatically when the fob is still in the protective metal area of the pouch. One time I even had it in my pocket within the pouch, and was able to start the car! Needless to say that was a little concerning and I thought maybe it was a fluke. But there are other members of the family that also have this pouch. Theirs also have failed with time. I still think it's a good product but with a caveat. You will have to test it frequently. As an added safeguard, instead of hanging up our keys in the pouch, we put the keys in the pouch iand into a metal box. At least this way there is a certain degree of protection. I would say it's a good product BUT it must tested frequently and be prepared to replace it. But definitely it does work for a while. At the moment, I'm not too worried about someone taking the car. The worry is that someone will try to steal the catalytic converter. That seems to be happening in our area at the moment.--------------------------------------------------Wow, I had no idea how easy it is for a tag team of thieves to steal a car! I saw a newscast that was reporting on "relay attacks" on vehicles. All you have to do is Google it. Apparently cars that have a start button instead of a key. The fobs constantly send a signal, or a ping in search of their matched vehicle. Auto thieves can scan the signal with their own electronic device, and just walk into your car and drive off. No key needed, just a digital signal!I ordered a pack of two Faraday pouches. The pouch works perfectly. I tested it to make sure that it worked. First, I walked up to the car. Normally the car will unlock if you are within a few feet of it. The car did not detect the fob while it was tucked away in the pouch. Next, I unlocked the car and sat in the driver's seat. I placed the fob back into the pouch. I hit the on button to start the car. Again, the car could not detect the fob and wouldn't start until I took it out of the pouch.I am very happy with the pouch. If you buy this product, please be aware that the pouch comes with two pockets. It is very important to note, you have to use the back pocket that is lined with a gold colored fabric. That fabric is what protects the signal from leaving the pouch. The first pocket is for small things like coins. It doesn't block signals. Only the back pocket does. The only thing I could be concerned about with this product is that it closes with velcro. At some point the velcro will wear out from overuse. Maybe use a binder clip to keep it closed if that happens.For the life of me I still do not understand why automakers came up with this idea of a keyless ignition. I guess I'm old school. I prefer keys over fobs. I guess times change & this appears to be the latest fad. Until auto makers use some common sense to either go back to a real key, or include an on-off switch on the fobs, this is a great product that can help deter an expensive theft. I totally recommend it.

This little bag will actually block the car remote transmission, really! So if you park your car keys at or near your front door, you wouldn’t have to worry about someone copying your key fob signal to steal your ride! Great Product….

Bit bulky for my fob (small fob), but should be able to accomodate most sizes. Walked right up to car door and door never unlocked. Removed fob from pouch and door unlocked immediately.

These faraday bags are almost a must nowadays, especially for someone who owns a highly sought after vehicle (from theft). Some insurance companies insist on you having them or they won't cover loss. This one works excellent but there are a few things to note: one is that there are two pouches in each bag but only one of the two stops your signal, make sure you place you keys in the inner (grayish coloured lined) pouch...next how to test to ensure it is blocking your signal. Place your fob in the inner pouch and try to unlock/lock/start your vehicle, if no response that means it is protecting your investment and finally, my experience is that the bag is only good for about a year. Day in day out putting the fob in the pouch and taking it out, wears out the faraday lining. You may not even notice it worn out, because it'll be ever so little. That's why you should test the bag weekly to ensure it is still blocking the signal because, trust me, it will wear out and you will have to replace it. Highly recommend.

It works as expected and blocks signals.. i tested it inside my car too and the car doesn’t start until I take the key out of the pouch.. only problem is the size of pouch which is a bit big in size compared to the key. Otherwise no issues at all

Faraday bag is easy to use. Placed the key fob for my vehicle in the gold pocket and the fob did not work when I tried to open the door and my vehicle would not start, so it worked exactly as described. I also like the design and size of the bags. I am happy with my purchase and I would recommend this product.

Honest review: I am totally impressed that in this price range we get 2 Faraday bags and it really works. At first I did not believe the reviews. But believe me it really works. One thing we have to put the key or Card at the back pocket for it to mask the RFID. Planning of our hasing few more.

Tardo un poco pero finalmente llego antes de la fecha estimada, la calidad es buena y cumple con su función pues al colocar la llave dentro de ellas y pararme junto al vehículo no se detecta la señal . Las bolsas son tal cual se muestran en la imagen. Son un poco mas grandes de lo que parecen pero aun así caben en la bolsa del pantalón o chaqueta. Si lo recomiendo.
