This was a gift for my husband and so far he loves it. The pieces included that hold it flat are a big bonus, and the tube it comes in looks awesome and it's great for storage.

The hexes are one (1)inch across which fits the bases of my Battletech mini’s. Product description only described the square grid on the flip side as being one (1) inch squares. I had to guess from the photos about the hex grid and assumed it would be fine since Battletech was mentioned as one of the games the hexes were for.

The product is exactly what I wanted. The tube it comes in is durable and easy to put the parts in. My son enjoyed drawing a one off map that sprawled across this massive board. I guess the only detractor is it won’t fit on your average kitchen table.

In many ways I prefer the old vinyl mats but if you don't erase the marker immediately it tends to soak in permanently. For my gaming group I decided that the next map should be laminated, I got this for my GM on Christmas, and everybody liked it.

It's a very good size for larger map areas, and the straighteners help a lot with keeping the map from curling up when in use. Very easy to use and clean. Best with alcohol-based cleaners

This is a high quality item that really works well for multiple gaming purposes. It's good for any Tabletop RPG where you need to have a quick reference for distances for movement and sight. It's also large enough to put down as your surface for tabletop wargaming and then not have to measure everything when moving troops. Dry erase markers and eraser work well and seem like they won't dry out quickly and the straightening clips are great to get everything to lie flat. Good product!

I got this to have a good travel battle mat for playing d&d. It is easy to get it flat with the included accessories and the dry erase markers help sketching out maps and terrain on the fly. I have only used it in a couple sessions, but found it very helpful. Overall I am happy with this kit.

This is enormous! You could put the whole dungeon on it. I have yet to use it as I am still working out the logistics of a map that is bigger than my table! It comes with markers, an eraser, and edge stiffeners for the map. Recommended.
