Circular polarizing filters cut glare and reflection making them the perfect choice for outdoor photography. This filter is designed to fit auto focus cameras and rotates for the best effect. By cutting glare and reflection, this filter gives deeper color and better definition. Depending on the angle of the sun, this filter will make clouds stand out against a deep blue sky and deeper greens in foliage. Tiffin's used of high quality glass and polarizing materials make this the ultimate choice for your camera.

Like so many people, I've polarizing sunglasses before. This does that same wonders for your camera. It takes a little practice but my pics looks so much better. I can't wait to try this out over water, once the lakes unfreeze.

I use this lens to film videos and take pictures at the beach. The lens really brings out the color of the beach and cuts glare letting me film or shoot pictures of what is in the ocean, fish or coral.

This filter was on sale (only $22) and so I decided to give it a try to see what it would do for my landscape photos. So far it's been terrific! The attached photos were taken at the same time, with and without the polarizer, to the best that my photo editing software could do for each. The sky looks richer and the clouds are more distinct in the photo with the polarizer, and the colors in general look better - more like the northern New Mexico landscape looks like for real. So I think that a polarizer is worth using.I did notice that I got a huge amount of flaring when I pointed my camera at my computer screen with this polarizer on it, compared to when there was no filter on the lens. Whether this is something that should be expected from any polarizer or whether it is a problem with this particular brand, I'm not sure. Now that I'm convinced that polarizing filters make a difference, it may be worth while to invest in a really good one. This one was a good start regardless.

I love this circular polarizing filter! My friend got it first for his Sony Nex 3N, and since I just bought the same camera he recommended me this Tiffen filter. Product function as describes, best of all it is made in USA!

Kinda worry when purchased it because its low price. After using it for my whole trip, I love it so much!! I use it on my Sony Nex-3N and I can really tell the big difference. No more reflections when I takes pic from inside the window, more natural colors and sky comes out so detail!

Update review: after my third use, the polarizer became super stuck. I’ve tried every tips And tricks videos on how to remove stuck filter, but none of them work. And so I decided to take the risk and the tool shown in picture, as well as a small needle to try to remove the filter by disassembling it. After the glass was removed, it should’ve been easy to remove right? Nope, the one that was connected to the threat was super tight, I had to grip and squeez the tool to the point where I shouldn’t have to squeez as hard as I did. And it finally came off. So after all the process I was left with a few scratches and dent on my lens. I would’ve understood or felt if I had tightened the thread that hard, but I screwed it as I often did, and used the rotating part. I’m not sure if it tightened through the use of the rotating part, but man am I glad to have only gotten a few dents and scratches.
