This is the second DVR BRAND I purchased. The first one I had to return because of unsatisfactory product quality.This TigerSecu DVR have me so impressed with product, setting up was easy and most of all the plus ☝️one customers service. I actually spoke with live personnel to help me connect DVR video to my phone.For the price this is worth👌🏿 the purchase and I recommend this product.

The most important thing to share is that I received prompt and understandable responses to my inquiries with Tigersecu. This gives a person the confidence to explore unfamiliar tech territory. When I provided the make and model of my existing cameras, they were able to quickly verify compatibility. The biggest delay in troubleshooting a problem is due to email communication. It appears that Tigersecu tries to reply to an incoming email within a day, which I find satisfactory. So, you can't solve a problem with a single phone call, but they are very responsive and provide relevant troubleshooting questions.I experienced two problems with the product that Tigersecu helped solve. First, they helped me identify that my initial "no video" problem was actually a problem with my own associated equipment (when they suggest upgrading the camera power supply, do it). Two weeks later they helped me identify a second "no video" problem as a problem with their product. After a reasonable period of troubleshooting (via email exchange, sometimes including pictures to help guide me), they had me return the product, evaluated it, determined it was faulty, and then shipped me a replacement. Took a little less than a month to go from my initial "Dear Tigersecu, I have no video, please help." to receiving a replacement DVR. I was pleasantly surprised at the helpfulness of Tigersecu's support and extremely pleased by how they stood behind their warranty. Prompt and seemingly competent technical support is my number one reason why Tigersecu will be the first seller I look to in upgrading my system or installing a system elsewhere.The DVR itself seems fine. Has the capabilities I would expect, including receiving AHD and IP video feeds. Setup is easy. The user interface software is fairly intuitive and offers some customization. Wish the DVR had the ability to have a keyboard input. "Typing" through mouse clicks on a keyboard is very cumbersome, but after setup is complete, I wouldn't expect to have to do much more typing. My biggest setup struggle was properly setting the time. I found that I needed to enter the correct time relative to the correct time zone, which meant actually setting a different hour and allowing the time zone setting to automatically adjust to the correct hour. I don't see the need for time zone settings on a DVR. It's not like I will be regularly taking the DVR on trips around the earth. I have the DVR set up as a standalone system, so I have no experience with how well it works to view video over a LAN or over the internet. I desired to see the four video feeds in a certain arrangement on the screen. This required a little trial and error connecting cables to the back of the DVR. I wish the software allowed me to rearrange the channel layout, but it's not a big deal with only four channels. If you had an eight-channel or more, arranging your channel screen layout would probably be a real nuisance.

I recently purchased the TIGERSECU Super HD 1080P 16-Channel Hybrid 4-in-1 DVR Security Recorder AND the TIGERSECU Super HD 1080P 4-Channel Hybrid 4-in-1 DVR Security Recorder and wanted to share my experience. First off, the setup process was a breeze. I found it remarkably easy to get the DVR up and running, and connecting it for online access via both my cell phone and computer applications was straightforward and user-friendly.However, my experience with the applications themselves was less than stellar. While the visibility and access through these apps are good, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility they offer. A significant drawback for me was the inability to view multiple DVRs simultaneously. In my setup, I have one DVR in my house and another in my detached garage. Unlike my previous DVR system, the TIGERSECU app requires me to disconnect from one DVR to connect to the other, which is quite inconvenient and time-consuming.I attempted to seek assistance or a workaround for this issue by reaching out to TIGERSECU's Tech Support. Additionally, I posted my query on their blog, hoping for a resolution or at least some guidance. Unfortunately, my efforts were in vain as I never received any response to my simple questions. This lack of customer support response was quite frustrating and left me feeling somewhat neglected as a customer.In summary, while the TIGERSECU DVR excels in ease of setup and basic functionality, it falls short in application flexibility and customer support. For users requiring the ability to monitor multiple DVRs simultaneously, this might not be the best fit. I hope TIGERSECU addresses these issues in future updates or at least improves their customer support responsiveness.

I purchased 2 of these units and they came in today. Got one of them hooked up well pleased. The pictures are good with good color and clear. I am 85 years old and some of this kind of stuff has passed me by. Tech. Support was very helpful and they very easy to work with. 5 * for them It has been up and running for about 3 hours now and recorders on motion very well. The program is easy to follow playback etc. works good. I purchased another system last week and that was the sorriest thing I ever. The program was not user friendly, but this Tiger is easy and down to earth to follow and view. I will hook up the other 4 cameras here in a day or so that system is okay, but I'll swap it out with the other Tigersecu I purchased. Hasn't been dark since I got this working, but I feel the night vision will be good too.
