I was a little wary of the fit and quality of the third party covers, so I but the bullet and bought the branded one. Yeah, it's pricy, no way around that. But it fits perfectly, and is very well made.

Though a little on the expensive side, the quality of the screen and poker match the price point.Poker: Because it came in two parts I was a little concerned that the poker wouldn't feel solid. Once I screwed the two parts together I had absolutely no issues with it. The poker head is super well designed for moving logs around with both a push and pull poker as well as lifting a moving the screen. The material feels hefty and sturdy and I expect it will last me many seasons of fire poking before the join starts to loosen.Screen: My initial impression of the screen was excitement that I could build the fire a little higher than I would have without it. Though the firepit isn't designed for the burning material to be higher than the top of the pit, with the screen bottom I felt I could load a little more into the pit and not feel unsafe. Though this resulted in a little more smoke than otherwise, it was nice to see the fire more. The little clip under the top portion of the screen lets you rest it on the lip of the lower portion of the screen while loading additional wood to the fire. I found this to be such a nice feature since it is always a hassle to figure out a safe place to put a super hot screen while poking and stoking a fire. The one 'issue' I noticed is that some small sparks did get through the screen. Though it would definitely stop large sparks, like from exploding pine sap, for locations with super strict fire restrictions, I'm not sure this would suffice. For the northeast though, those sparks pose little threat.

We purchased this to replace an old pit we’ve had at our lake cottage for years. Absolutely love it! It’s attractive, easy to set up and light, really is smokeless - so no more changing your seat every time the breeze changes, and it radiates warmth a good distance around the pit. The size is ideal for us - the 16 inch interior is perfect for the firewood after the pellets burn down. We also got the screen and poker at the same time and it is ideal!! It was such a hit that 2 neighbors ordered them for themselves. We would all definitely recommend it!!! And the marshmallows roast to perfection!!!

It's a bit pricey for what it is, but it's designed to fit perfectly, and I think it's a good safety necessity for a tiki fire pit.

I got a Tiki outdoor firepit for Christmas. I looked at the Solo Stove too but I liked the design of the Tiki and the fact that it sits on legs better.Good news: Tiki works great and does indeed mitigate a lot of the smoke from a wood fire outdoors, particularly critical in Southern Marin where we have to be vigilant about fire danger. Bad news: it doesn’t quite eliminate all the smoke and sparks. So this mesh cover and poker are critical to making sure no live cinders or sparks float away from the firepit and cause any alarm or damage, and it works like a charm.Double bonus for the poker, constructed of stainless and blackened iron. Handsome accoutrement to any patio log stack!

I’ve had concerns with my fire output in the past especially because I have a small space and near my building and other people’s units. This pit ring was a great solution to help contain flames and provide additional safety when using my tiki fire pit. I’ve had concerns with lengths and sturdiness of pokers I’ve seen from other brands, but this one is extremely sturdy (and has a very handy bottle opener at the end!). I love the functionality of removing the lid with the poker and the ability to hang it against the ring with the lip instead of setting it on the ground and risk unintentionally burning something. High quality product the resolves needs I didn’t know I had!

We added this to our TIKKI firepit and it has increased the use and safety - if you are on the fence, I recommend this.
