This board fit the bill in every way. Perfect smaller size for taking it along on trips. Perfect tile lock board. Tiles don't snap in place, which I like. Easier to remove tiles at game's end. Quality plastic trays, not flimsy. Quality letters which sit perfectly in trays. Not cheap foldable cardboard board. I would buy this again and may get a few for gifts. I can recommend this keeping in mind that it is a much smaller board than standard size.

I would have given this game 3 stars because I must admit to how I feel each star represent how you truly feel and I felt like one little thing I didn't like shouldn't be the star given just based off that. So now let me explain what I mean. The game is a lot smaller than I actually thought I must admit I didn't read the full description like I normally do when I purchase things online to avoid problems like the one I have concerning this game. Yes it is a tile lock just like the description says it is but Like I said its small, the board....the tiles and even the stand for the tiles seem to be smaller than the original game. I had to go back to look at the box to make sure this wasn't some Junior version to the game like they have for monopoly. That seem to be my only problem I have with the game board other than that it definitely is a tile lock no more of the tiles scattering when we try to make a word. Would I recommend this product yes but beware it is small.

The Tile Lock Scrabble game works great! The tiles stay securely in place, which is a nice touch for those who get frustrated with them shifting around during play. The board is well-made and everything plays just like traditional Scrabble.My only small wish is that it were a little larger, but the compact size is probably perfect for road trips and on-the-go play. Overall, it's a solid, innovative take on the classic game, especially if you're looking for something more portable!

The tile retention pins really do the job. Might be a little frustrating for unsteady hands to get tiles in place but once in they stay in place.

I bought this for my grandchildren ages 6 and 7. It's perfect for them; the letters stay in place on the board very nicely, the letter tiles are the right size for their hands and the board survived some pounding from the 6 year old. Pretty durable product also easy to read the letters and words.

Nice product, but letters csn tend to go out of place and it is difficult to put them back in their place.

Just the job. Nice chunky tiles, don't feel at all fragile, neither does the board. Had the original many, many decades ago and it was always frustrating when the tiles started to degrade and lose their pegs. This revamp has been turned on its head and the pegs are actually little bobbles on the board, so that won't happen now. The box isn't as strong as they were in the olden days, but I think that doesn't really matter. Excellent. Quick delivery too.

The tiles fit really well on the board however they don't stay on the rack quite so well. the box it came in was battered but as I'm making my own case to keep the board, the racks and the tile bag ( inc tiles) in it doesn't matter so much.Overall very happy with the purchase.

Searched in vain locally for this particular version of tile-lock Scrabble. Ordered it from the US on December 12th hoping it would arrive in time for Christmas, it did.Thanks for making someone's Christmas with their perfect gift.
