This handy little tool makes the task of installing uncoupling membranes (Ditra) much easier. It will also help set larger floor tiles. I wouldn't trust the suction cup to safely transport heavy tiles. It's a good investment at 50 dollars.

This is an interesting new tool! Traditionally I’d just butter things up, press down the tiles, and lightly tap with a rubber mallet to “spread the butter,†but this tool is genius… kinda. If nothing else, the tool is great for picking up and moving large tiles from the stack (doesn’t even need to be turned on to do that), but just be careful not to accidentally squeeze the trigger or bye bye suction, bye bye tile, hello vacuum. Suction is very good though! I suctioned the tool to the countertop and when my kid asked what it was I said, “It’s a really heavy tool. Bet you can’t lift it.†Ha! She couldn’t… until she started pressing buttons and lifted the handle, which released suction. I’ve tested this thing out in the shop, but haven’t used it at a job yet; however, in my testing, I found the tool awkward to use to vibrate tiles. The tool itself seems nicely constructed, but I would have preferred maybe a paddle switch or on off switch over holding down a button to keep it vibrating. Not a deal breaker by any means, but just pointing it out that if you hold the thing like a grinder instead of keeping it somewhat perpendicular to your body, the battery pack is sticking into your arm. That will likely irritate me when working the tile at the bottom of a vertical installation. Having variable speed is helpful and the tool vibrates a lot on the highest setting (8). It’s also pretty loud above 3. The tool doesn’t remember the last used speed setting and always starts at level 3 so be sure to adjust accordingly. Once vibrating, the tool’s display provides a countdown from 20, which I believe indicates battery power. There doesn’t appear to be an auto shutoff if the tool is idle (or at least not after 5 minutes since that was one of my tests), so just be aware that if you drain a battery and don’t turn off the tool, it could drain the battery to damaging levels. Tool also needs to sit on its side when not sucked onto something since the weight of a battery (even a 2.0Ah) is too much to counterbalance the vibrating side.I chose the version that works with Milwaukee M18 batteries and the tool blends in with all my other red and black tools. The plastics and rubbers seem identical.

This machine has multiple vibration levels with the highest being strong enough to make it tricky to hold. It still does it's job and the suction cup is very strong and has held up well. I've only used it twice on my countertop with 12 x 12 tiles. Pretty cool little device.

I would be lying if I said I knew what this machine does. My husband used my account to get it, he said we needed it to do our floors. I trust him, and so I asked him about it. He said a bunch of man speak to me. And basically what I got out of it was that it worked really well and did what it was supposed to do. He was happy with his purchase.

El producto no apsorbe muy fuerte lo que proboca que las piensas de Seramica caigan y se rompan además que el seguro no se sostiene por sà solo
