This tiny recorder holds 1150 hours of good quality voice recordings -- and the rechargeable battery has a 30-hour capacity (listed in specs -- I haven't tested battery life). It's super easy to use for recording. The configuration is a bit more involved, but that's to be expected in such a miniaturized device with minimal buttons and no display. I use all the factory defaults which work well for me (and probably will be the choice for most people) so I never needed to change the configuration. I just easily used it straight out of the box. If you want to set the date/time stamp or change the default configurations, you simply create a text file on your computer with easy-to-understand lines of text that contain the configuration values. Then you connect the recorder to your computer and transfer the text file to the recorder. Easy to do and clearly documented in the instructions.I tested the recording quality and it's very good for voice. Since this has such a huge storage capacity, you can simply start recording and forget about it for most uses (like recording lectures, meetings, etc.). It does not beep, which is a good thing. You can easily connect the recorder to your computer (with the provided USB cable), transfer the recorded files there and then listen to them and manage them using Window, iOS, Linux or Android (all supported according to the specs, but I only tested with Windows which worked well). This is how power user will use it. However, if you just make an occasional recording, you can leave the recordings on the device and listen to them with the provided earbuds -- these work well and include inline controls for navigating through the recordings (but navigation will be much easier if you transfer the recordings to your computer).All-in-all, this is an excellent, well designed, highly-miniaturized voice recorder which should come in handy for recording brief memos or whole lectures.

In an age where you can just use a smart phone for everything, you forget how nice it is to have something dedicated to doing one thing and one thing only.I really appreciate the simplicity of this recorder, no screen, no buttons, no speakers, just a USB C charging port, one slide switch and a discreet led. Slide the switch on to record, slide it to off to stop. That's it. It's truly refreshing. The size is perfect, very small and thin but not TOO small. It's a little aluminum tile, nothing more, nothing less.Recording quality was more than adequate for my purposes. If you deal with a lot of recorded audio, this isn't going to replace your full featured recorder but it is absolutely fantastic for throwing it in a pocket, bag, whatever and forgetting it until you need it.Set up seems a little strange at first but it's dead simple. Hook it up to your computer and it's seen as a removable drive. Open up the text file, change it to what you want and save the file. Easy. Retrieving the audio files just as easy, if you've used a flashdrive, you can use this. Again, I love the simplicity, no software needed, just drag and drop. This isn't for everyone but it was perfect for my needs.

this voice recorder is a great solution for meetings and interviews. it’s portable and slim, so it’s easy to carry around. the 64GB storage lets you record a lot of content without worrying about running out of space. the voice activation works well, so it only records when there’s sound. it’s a handy tool for anyone who needs to record audio discreetly or for long periods.just wish it didnt need to be plugged into the compyter to hear the playback

It does what it claims to do. It is a digital voice activated recorder. When you open the package it will contain the recorder itself, the USB-C cable, a USB-C connector, and a pair of device specific USB-C headphones for use with the device. It also comes with a couple lanyards to attach to the unit.Test recordings came out well as long as the subject you're recording is relatively close. It can pick up voices from across the room, but they can be faint. The recordings will show up as MP3 files, and labeled with the date and time, and will break the files apart at time intervals that you set. I'll get to that in a minute. This particular unit came with 64GB storage, I have yet to come anywhere near close to that in testing, but does seem accurate according to windows explorer. According to the manual that should be 1150 hours recording space. I have yet to run down the battery after charging, but the manual claims that the battery life should be about 30 hours. The device itself is easy to use, aside from the setup process. You only really have to do that if you want the file timestamps to be date and time accurate, and you want to set certain features like voice detection, whether or not the light is on when recording, and how much time between breaks in the file. Otherwise after charging the unit up, just turn the power on and wait for the blue light to start flashing, you're recording. This device is tiny. As in it can get lost easy. I suggest you use one of the lanyards and attach it to something like a key-chain or something else so it's less easy to misplace. It's roughly the size of a compact flash (CF) card. This claims to be compatible with PC, Mac, Linux, android, and iOS. I have no doubt, as when you plug it into any device, it acts like USB storage. You recordings are in a folder called RECORD. And they're in MP3 format, which anything should be able to play these days.Okay we'll get to why I only gave this 4 stars. The setup. In the manual it tell you to edit the file on the drive called RECSET.TXT . If you're on Windows, DO NOT use windows notepad to edit this file. You will be greeted with a screen full of garbled text. The manual don't state this, and it will cause you headaches as you can't set up your recorder. You need to use something else that edits text files, I used Notepad++. Once opened in a different editor, you will see everything in plain English showing you the setting you can change, and how to set the time / date. Once this file is correctly set up, it will work as advertised. It's a handy device if you need to record meetings or lectures for transcribing or study. Aside form the hiccup with setup this device is great. Just not very user friendly.
