Unfolding and folding the chair takes some strength. It is a straightforward process. You don't need directions to fold or unfold it, but it does take some real effort. And that is my only "complaint" about the product.I am a hefty person and have broken a few outdoor chairs just by sitting on them. This chair? That won't happen. I sat down on it and it barely gave at all. It is very sturdy. The side table is easy to set up and let down. I have put several drinks and some gardening tools on it and it held just fine. There is a weight limit to the side table but I find it very reasonable for my use.Is this the prettiest chair? No. It is a decent looking chair that operates better than you would think. The fabric material is both comfortable and sturdy. The chair seat is "deep" enough front to back and if you want you could tuck a leg under you just fine. The back support is better than any outside folding chair I've ever used.The chair is wide. Both myself and my daughter can sit on it side by side. She even bounced on it to check to see if it would hold. No problem. I have flopped down on it twice now and each time I realized half way through that I shouldn't be doing that. The chair held just fine.The chair is heavy. Read the product details. I was surprised by how much it weighed. Personally, the weight is well worth the sturdiness.

This chair is heavy and heavy duty. It seats both me and my tween at the same time. Like an oversized chair in your home. The overall quality is great though yes the table is on the flimsy side and I found a spot where the paint was scratched bad and it was “touched up†very poorly. The box is already gone with the trash so there’s no returning now I suppose. That being said, I was very comfortable as I watched a game in it and didn’t fee the metal bars digging in the backs of my legs like some sling camping chairs do to me. This could easily accomodate a pillow or two plus a blanket for extra comfort. Carrying it is a bit awkward as I’m on the shorter side, but I just turned it horizontal and it was slightly easier. It’s takes up a large amount of trunk space in my CRV. Oh and you’ll need some muscles to push the chair into the open position and a little more to collapse it again.

***Update: Over a year later of regular use, these still work great! No breaks, no tears! The actual seat is Wider than other brands and will hold a heavier person consistently. The chairs are kept under a covered patio and are used daily. A year later, they still look new! Yes, they have to be hosed down occasionally with the wind blowing dust and leaves, but these have been a great investment. We bought 4. Smaller people enjoy them too! They are comfortable. They are high quality! I changed my 4 star rating to 5 stars. Yes, the side tables are unreliable, but what matters most is the actual chair. If this review helped somewhat, please click Helpful. ***Sturdy! Tested with 450 pounds successfully. These are great, especially if you are buying for a larger person. Some chairs will have a higher weight capacity, but the width of the seat is too small. These chairs are WIDE!! They truly hold a larger person comfortably AND securely. These are quality chairs and built to hold a heavier weight. You could add a seat cushion if you are planning on using them for an all day event, but they are comfortable as is for 2-3 hours. The chairs have a handle to help carry, although we find it easier to just pick up the chair frame to carry. They fold up and down super easy! You will have no problems and they come with instructions. Our only complaint: the side table will not lock into place securely. We never know if our drink or food is going to come crashing to the ground. They really should have made the locking mechanism more secure. We will probably have to rig something to make the side table work effectively. The chairs are priced too high for the side tables to keep collapsing. This is the reason for the 4 stars.

This is absolutely worth the money. This chair is huge. I had plenty of room, the arms do not dig into my legs, they don't even touch my legs! The table is great and helpful. Easy to set up and take down, no pinching fingers like my last chair. I used this at the beach. Loved it! Super sturdy. It is heavy to carry, BUT like another reviewer said, if you're a larger person, you can't expect a chair to accommodate AND be light weight! It's not a deal breaker for me, it fit in my beach wagon but it also has a carry strap.

I fit in this chair very well and I don't feel like it is going to collapse. It is very sturdy and comfortable. Just wish it had a higher back, but it is a great camping chair.

More than pleased with the quality of this chair. Sturdy frame extremely durable and comfortable seat material. Unfolds easily and locks easily into open position . No issues with closing . Tray opens easily and locks in upright position supports nominal weight easily.Excellent chair.

Chairs great size 6 ft 4 heavy set this chair is comfortable in size for me it's solid and sturdy and it even has a table to hold a can of soda or beer and I wouldn't put anything else on it heavier than a small book my candle sits on it without collapsing it but it seems weak and cheap other than that it's pretty good it's got a couple of bags to put things in so overall it's a great little chair for camping or what have you I actually carry it with me when I have to leave my truck for a service and I use this so that I can go sit out and read my book or listen to music or whatever out of the tiny cramped waiting room if it lasts as good as it looks like it will this will be a chair that I can use for many years and many camping trips definitely not for backpacking or walk-in campsites this is big heavy chair throw it in your car

I am a big guy, 6'3", 275 well deserved pounds. This is the first time I feel small in a foldable camping chair. If you're a big guy, you know what I mean, gently sitting down hoping the chair won't collapse, gingerly getting comfortable, trying to get up without breaking anything. Well I am soooooo pleased to tell you that this chair is honestly going to rock your world; it has mine. Comfortable, easily deployed and folded. Spacious and sturdy. Nice little side bag that lets you store things (sunglasses, phone) and a cool insulated bag for cold drinks (I think I can get 3-4 tall boys in it). On the other side there is a nice foldable tray with a cup holder (another tall boy!) I can go on and on but sincerely, this is one of my best purchases in a long time, I recommend it highly. PS, you don't have to be big to get this ☺ï¸

Amazing quality. The chair is quite heavy but it makes sense that, for the weight capacity, it needs to be constructed with heavy duty materials. My friends also bought the same chair. Mine is a little hard to fold up when putting it away. You definitely need muscle to do so; however, that the only concerns: heavy and hard to fold up. I definitely need to shoulder strap for transporting. My friend’s chair is not as difficult to fold up. The storage compartments on the side are amazing! The table is sturdy and of good size. Highly recommend!! For those who are not so wide as to fill the entire seat, it’s nice to sit sideways with a leg up. For those who fit the whole seat, the chair is still very comfortable to sit for hours. Very happy with this purchase!

You deserve a good chair. This is it. Sturdy and comfy. You feel secure. Bit heavy but hey so are we. Now I have something that I can use w piece of mind. I will bring my own chair to events like everyone else. Sit and be seen fat friends!

I've been shopping around for a while for an oversized directors chair and this chair has exceeded my expectations. It's way roomier than I need it to be but in a good way. I have extra room for if I want blankets to to cross my legs , the side table is nice though I often struggle to get it to lock in place. It can be a bit hard to close up the chair and it takes up quite a bit of space when closed up, I do wish it folded nicely but I use a bungee cord to help keep it closed nicely.The side pockets are also nice. I did somewhat under estimate how short the back of the chair is but honestly, it's not bad.

I have been looking for a camping-style chair that was wide enough to be comfortable and built strong to support my weight.This chair is fantastic. Solid frame, slightly higher/taller than the average chair. Lots of room to sit comfortably, a sturdy back to stay upright, and can handle the pressure of a large man putting his weight against the armrests to stand up.And the little side table and bag are a great bonus.What I was expecting though was more of a portable camping chair. Something that I can toss into the car, pull out at campgrounds, take to outdoor festivals, to the beach etc.This chair is way too heavy to be portable. Works great for the backyard, but do not plan on carrying it a long distance. It weighs quite a bit, and although it folds closed, it doesn't collapse like most camping chairs. No handles for carrying it, no pouch to put it in.So if you need something portable? This one won't be it.But if its simply to have an outdoor chair that is safe and sturdy? This big boy will do the trick.
