So far so good, used about a week now. Set up is easy and you don't have a box. It plugs into the back of the tv. Picture is good remote works good. Good value for your money. Hopefully it continues to work great and last longer then the box ones.

Does not work in USA (LA). Tried to use this for a TV without a tuner to catch antenna stations. I had another TV with a built-in tuner in the same room when I tested this. The TV with the built-in tuner using the a powered Leaf antenna caught 31 stations, but when I connected the same antenna cable to this unit, it was unable to pick up any channels - ZERO!! The other TV got 31 with the same antenna in the same position and cable. This is a trash product and a scam.

So my Airtv died from a lightning strike (along with my modem/router and Blu-ray player). I didn't use it alot, but I knew I'd miss it for certain things, mostly football. I use Sling with a hd antenna in my attic. My TCL tv came without an antenna input (the hole is there but no connector :-( ) A new Airtv2 was around $175 and I really didn't like the original, so I thought I'd give this a try for $25. Totally happy with it! Plugs into tv with HDMI cable and have a USB HDD connected to it for recording. The picture is perfect - haven't tried it in bad weather yet, and I suspect it won't be as good, but that is to be expected with OTA... The recording software is a bit wonky, but hey - it was only 25 bucks!

This very small TV converter box works very well. The only thing I question is that the HDMI output is perfect, but the AV phono plug output signal was weak. I tried it on 2 TV's with the same result. I still like it and will get a few more for the rest of the home.

Used old rabbit ears and about 15' of rg6 coax. Needed to get the antenna to the other side of the house. Before - right at the tv was getting 45-53 channels - and some were unusable. After the move, got 70 channels -all the main stations are strong.you can mount the unit to the back of the tvgood value for the prices

This TIMBOOTECH Digital Converter Box arrived promptly after ordering in perfect condition. It replaced a similar previous item of a different brand that failed to work properly. This TIMBOOTEH kit works very well on my second monitor that I use with my secondary old pc and frequently like to watch TV programs on. It is connected to my Over The Air (OTA) outdoor antenna and produces a good quality picture on the monitor and very good sound on my Pebble desktop speakers.
