These seals prevent abrasives, corrosive moisture and other harmful contaminants from entering the machines.

Much cheaper than a dealership, and appears to be OEM. This fit a 2005 Toyota Highlander V6 3.3L. One of these is required for the crank. Usually when doing a timing belt replacement.

Not for the 2000 Toyota Sienna 3.0 v6 front main seal/ crank seal. It is too thick. It will interfere with the crank hub. Had to remove and get a different brand.

This seal does not fit the 2006 Toyota Highlander 3.3L as indicated by checking for this vehicle.Nothing wrong with the seal itself, it just didn't fit.It is too thick/high. Original is 1/4", this one is 3/8".It almost fit but there is a soft, not metal sound when you put back the timing belt sprocket on the crankshaft. If you put it on with some speed than you can hear it hit metal on metal as it should. In other words, it is hitting the seal. It's obvious that you cannot get it in far enough. (I tried, trust me.)Found the correct one in a multi-purpose set at local parts place, one of the older ones in town, TCS45890.Looked for it and Amazon sells it as well: Fel-Pro TCS45890 Timing Cover Gasket Set: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009YK84L4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3DGQPXS9UO0IXI hope that this will save you some time and effort for those with the Toyota V6, 3.3L.

Ok for 2003 toyota highlander. These were not as thick as the OEM seals so make sure you seat them all the way in. 4 stars since they are not OEM spec.
