This was an exact replacement for the factory seals on our Grand Design fifth wheel but of a much better quality than the OEM that came on it. This is one of many times I have ordered these as I replace them when repacking and inspecting my bearings. Also the price and availability was much better than sourcing locally. Timken is a trusted name in the industry and perhaps one of if not the best.

I repacked the wheel bearings on my Montana 5th wheel camper. I replace the rear seals as part of the process. These seem more substantial than other brands. Timken has a good reputation. Installation was trouble-free and relatively easy. I would use these again.

Timken quality, double-lip seal fit perfectly on the Dexter 12"x 2" brake drums on my Keystone Fuzion 5th wheel trailer.

I ordered these for a decree 8k axle as an upgrade from the cheap seals trailer shops offer but they came as master pro seals made over seals vs the Timken made in the USA. Was disappointed but had to get the cattle trailer back on road to help feed America.

Just installed 6 of these seals on my skidloader this week. I have used OEM Case bearing/seal kits and also the NAPA equivalents in the past. Those seals were quite flimsy and easily bent or distorted during installation. Not so with these! There is a lot more metal and rubber to these Timken seals.When the process of changing a pair of seals takes 4 hours or so, I'd rather spend a little more and get the really good stuff !

13 October 2016I used these on my RV to replace the OEM seals.I needed to re-pack the bearings and thus needed to remove the seal to remove the inboard bearing to clean it and re-pack it.Seals cannot be reused once they are removed.The OEM seal was a Lippert Part #122088 (GS 2250DL) $3.77.The Lippert seal works, but it is a very "cheap" low quality seal.If this seal fails, then grease will migrate from the spindle cavity and go out and contaminate the brake shoes.This creates a very unsafe mess and thus the quality of the seal is very important and worth the extra money for the Timken/National seal.The photos show this Timken/National seal on the left and the Lippert seal on the right in each photo.The one photo shows both seals inboard side.The other photo shows both seals outboard side.The Timken/National seal has a much heavier and more robust "frame" to support the seal.For safety reasons alone, I will always spend the extra money for the Timken/National seal instead of using the cheap, low quality, Lippert seal.
