I'm redoing the front brakes and bearings on my 2wd '99 F-250 Super Duty (twin I beam suspension design) with 2 wheel ABS (rear) and ordered these for the spindle seal. Once I got them out, it was obvious that these seals are far inferior to the OEM seals! In the pictures, you can see the OEM seal I removed and the Timken on the right. The first image is with both seals in the correct orientation in relation to the rotor assembly. The second is the underside of the seals.- The OEM one has a MUCH larger sealing area with 3 'ridges' on the inside of the seal. The Timken only has 2 of these 'ridges' and are also closer together. The total sealing area appears to be about half that of the original seal.- The OEM seal has a metal flange that seats up against the rotor when installed and ensures the seal isn't crooked. It may also provide a bit more dirt and dust protection, but I don't really know. The Timken simply does not have that flange.- On the underside of the seal, the OEM has a pretty decent 'pocket' area to retain grease. Once again, the Timken simply does not have this. While the seal technically does fit, it is nowhere near the quality of the OEM Motorcraft! I never thought I'd be up here bashing a Timken product, but here we are! These are going straight in the trash and I've ordered a pair of Motorcraft BRS3 seals (they are the correct OE seal, despite Amazon claiming they don't fit) instead!

Have not installed them but they seem great and Timken has a great reputation!
