These aircraft are proudly manufactured in the United States as this 2 piece set. Each plane measures 8.1 inches long with 5.6 inch or 3.75 inch wingspan, and are approximately 1:75th scale. Made from slightly stiff light gray color HDPE plastic with a medium amount detail and a little flashing. These airplanes are modeled after the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter and Grumman F11F/F-11 Tiger fighter jet. PROCESSED PLASTIC (Tim Mee's parent company), first produced these airplanes sometime around the early 1960's, and they were often boxed or bagged with Airmen figures and marketed as U.S. Air Force sets all the way into the 1990s. These are real American Made toys, meant to be set up, knocked over, picked up and played with for years to come. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Two great fighter jets, the F11 US Navy fighter jet and the F104 Starfighter. Two aircraft, both about 1/72nd scale. Soft plastic, nothing to put together and ready to take off and defend against the enemy, monsters, space aliens or just to do high altitude research. The Starfighter was used by NASA for years to do research. Both are great toys, with lots of play value. I got a whole squadron of them!

Goes without saying, but don't buy this if you want "accuracy." If you do it's your own fault. Little kids will probably love this--great for people on a budget.

My five year old has developed a fascination for planes since watching Top Gun & these durable plastic planes are a great and affordable option. He has put all sorts of stickers on them to personalize!

I purchased these for my 4 year old son. They were a great deal and are a good brand. Made in the USA! You do have to put the stickers on them, but there is a picture diagram to follow. The stickers can easily be pealed off. The planes seem sturdy and well designed. My son is fascinated with military toys and plays with them for hours. I think it's good to encourage children to respect those who fight for our freedom and learn about history.
