I bought this Wreath with battery operated candles for Advent. I ordered it November 27 it was scheduled to be delivered by the First Sunday of Advent the 3rd of December It kept getting delayed by Amazon then Delayed by UPS. I got it on the 7th of December. I opened the box and all the candles were tossed in the box not in anything the purple candle was split in half so I put it back together then I started putting triple A batteries in each one as I was putting them in I noticed they got really hot so hot that it melted the plastic as you can see in the pictures.The purple candle never stayed together and when I tried to get the batteries back out of it the wire popped off. I just wanted to warn others to pass on this product. I would hate to see anyone hurt by these candles.

Read the reviews. I have two major issues with this. The candle holders are too big and that makes the candles wobbly and crooked. The remote is cool, but there is no way to control the candles independently. If you know about advent, you want to light one candle each Sunday. I don’t see a way to do this without unscrewing the battery cap. The base looks nice. I ordered some wax candles to see how they fit. If it doesn’t work out I will be returning.

The overall look was what we were looking for with this product. The problem with it is that the candles do not fit in the holders. They are to big so the candles did not sit vertical. I was able to fix it with some painters tape. The other thing is the remote does not work very often or it works on only part of the lights. I was able to workaround by just tighten the battery covers when wanting to use.

Advent candles are lit sequentially during the season; one the first week, two the second week, etc. We put batteries in all tehe candles as instructed. However, the functionality of the remote does not allow you to light one candle at a time. So, we had to remove the batteries from all but one candle the first week, then put batteris in the second candle the second week, etc. Disapointing.

These remote-control candles are so lifelike. They are beautiful, and truly change the look on your table. Totally recommend.
