I saw a youtube video of theses weights being used to make HO model train cars heavier. That is what I am using them for. Most of my passenger and freight cars weighed less than the NMRA recommended weight. For this, they work great.

I have ordered these weights a few times now, the weights them self have always worked out well.The shipping quality has been a different story, one time they were packaged well, so I ordered more, they arrived repackaged missing half the weights, and the box all messed up. Another time I received a box it was full but the box was all messed up, so its hit and miss.
