I have bought a second one of these metal double stands for my 40 breeder tanks. Its a very simple and easy to put together stand. And it holds the weight withought a problem at all.

It arrived damaged but I was able to hammer it straight again so I didn't have to wait for another to arrive. It wobbles a little when nothing is on it. But with the 2 tanks in place it seems sturdy enough. It was super easy to build. But the caps for the leg holes are annoying because they don't fit snug so if you touch them the fall out. It's for looks so it doesn't affect function. I am just so happy my daughter's room is less cluttered with furniture in order to accommodate her 2 lizards.

This is perfect for the two 40 gallon terrariums that I have. It might seem a little wobbly when you first put it together but the weight of the tank on the bottom holds everything in place. I'm very happy with my purchase. My only complaint is the price. After purchasing this I found another at PetSmart for half the price and added shelf in the middle. I'm still glad to have it and bought the other to replace shelving I was using for two other terrariums.

Sturdy, well made, easy to assemble, and lightweight. You may need a light hammer to get legs platforms inserted into side panals/legs. Perfect for my 40 gallon breeder tanks. Hoever, the bottom shelf will not fit a tank with separate mesh lid that used lid locks. Lid hangs over less than an inch too far and made it too wide to fit between the side bars. Perfect for open front or Slide in tops tho. This usually great stand but do feel it's not really worth $110.

Stand is very easy to assemble and is very sturdy with two 40 gallon breeder tanks. Would definitely recommend.

I have several of these. A few years ago you could get them for half the price, and that made them then quite a bargain. Not anymore (an industrial shelf costs even less than these stands). If you ever bought them at Foster & Smith (before it became Petco) then you know what I mean. These stands are easy and fast to assemble and will prove durable, even if they are somewhat flimsy. You can use them for two aquaria of the same size or at least with the same footprint (like for example a 20L and a 29, etc.) I suggest you secure them to a wall just as you would do with some appliances and tall furniture, as to avoid the risk of tilting. They rust easily and need constant applications of a rust converter. I think that the pros outweigh the cons.

Works great for reptile enclosures too as long as they are the appropriate size

It was a little large for my tank dimensions (topfin 59 gallon) but I put a piece of wood as a top and it works perfectly! My other stand was starting to bow and this one has saved my butt!

Really happy with this fish tank stand! My 40 gallon tank fits perfectly in the bottom compartment. It was a bit wobbly when first set up but once it was weighed down by the tank that was not an issue. It’s the only stand I was able to find that was not made of wood and particle board and it makes cleaning the tank so much less stressful since I don’t have to worry about it being ruined by water!! It’s a great product and the price is also much more reasonable than most fish tank stands that support this size of a tank. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased a 65 gallon aquarium and was looking for a simple but sturdy stand. The package arrived and was very easy to assemble, comprising two shelves and four legs. The pieces fit perfectly and it was not at all unsteady, even before placing the aquarium on the upper shelf.

I'd give it a 5 star but it gave me a hard time assembling it. Metal inserts are bent causing me to use a pliers to straighten them so that the legs could go in. Used a rubber hammer to put them together.
