I bought this because the original power cord to my Sony Video Recorder had become lost. There is no way to charge a battery without the power cord. The cord works just fine and fits the camera perfectly. It saved me from having to throw away the camera and I'm able to view all the tapes I made of my kids growing up. I highly recommend this cord.

This great. I finally found a power supply for my old Sony DCR-TR7000 Camcorder. Others I tried had the wrong plug. This charger has the flat one as shown in one of their pictures
