I like the fact that there are so many tools to start with. I can only give 4 stars because the punch and sewing tools failed on the first use. The handles came off. Fortunately I have a good speed sewer that works very well. The other tools will probably last a long time.

This leather tool set contained all the tools that I needed and even more. It came in a leather bag that I just love. I have a few leather items that I need to repair and this kit is just what I needed. It will also help me in the future with many more projects. I received it right away and I would definitely buy again.

I purchased this leather kit for my husband for Christmas because he has everything and I didn't know what else to get for him. I hit paydirt, he loves it! He says that along with the things he already had, he has just about everything needed now.He has been doing leatherwork for years so he had quite a bit before I bought this for him but it did have many things that he had not purchased yet/before. Now he has his head stuck in the leather all the time!

This is a "made in china" product, so you get what you pay for, but it works. The storage bag is on the thin side, so it's handy for now but probably won't last long. The collection of tools, however, should make for a good starter set for hobbyists. They're not professional grade at all, but they'll make do.On a positive note, they must have run out of parts for this kit because I noticed the punch set was German-made and the leather cutter appears to be of Japanese make. Bonus. You can definitely tell a difference in quality versus the other tools in the kit. You might need one or two other tools that aren't included, like a stitch pony and a strap cutter and a sharpening strop board, otherwise it's a good starter set for beginners.
