Allows you to boil seven eggs at once with variable yoke consistency ( soft, medium, hard). The first one I ordered did not have the egg piercer/water measuring device so I had to order a new one. This particular item is key to using the egg cooker the way it was designed. I’ve included a picture of it. The piercer allows for the eggs to be peeled effortlessly. The lid also seems a bit thin compared to my old egg boiler and I’m concerned it will crack if it falls on my tiled kitchen floor.

I bought one of this brand elsewhere and have burned myself a few times while taking the lid off. The bubble on the side is the handle. Once you lift it up the steam comes straight at your hand! Once my two fingers hurt for a good day from the burn. I flung the lid when it happened and was glad it didn't break. I have not found a good way to open it besides turning the handle slightly real fast and let the steam out before continuing to take the lid off. Also, as soon as you plug it in, it starts to heat up. All the other brands seem to simply have a button to turn it on and off. I am buying a new one right now, even though this one works.

This egg cooker is perfect for my apartment. It's compact, making it easy to store, and it works wonderfully. It’s fast and consistently cooks eggs perfectly. My only complaint is the buzzer—it’s loud and doesn’t stop until you unplug it, which can be a bit annoying.
