The drum sounds nice but the design look s a little cheap and not much care was taken to line up the pattern design around the drum. Also we were supposed to receive the snake skin print and received a totally different design. A little disappointing.

This drum is everything I hoped it would be. The construction is reliable and will hold its value for years to come. The tone is suprisingly deep for its size. The picture might lead you to believe that it is larger than it actually is. One challenge I am having with it is the finish which is rather slick making it at times difficult to secure between my legs. Overall it is of solid value and worth the price.

Like the this drum provides a predictable, strong sound that is much less affected by variations in humidity than most wooden drums. It's not as deep as the Djembe's tone, but it is a little smaller, and lighter as well. I have two of both and they are reliable and sturdy. Both of mine are indeed Snake print (not red as currently pictured)

The finish is a yellow snake skin print, not the Bali Red. I was expecting a red drum, not a yellow one. Even a red snake print would've been fine, but not this yellow ochre one. I'll be returning it, sadly. I was so looking forward to drumming to my heart's content. Simply put, the color on the picture does not accurately represent the color of the product and the inset goes to an entirely different color scheme.

Great little drum! Bought it as a gift for my boyfriend, and he LOVES it. My only issue was I ordered the Snake pattern and got the Bali Red (looks like other people have had similar issues), but it's still pretty and sounds great.
