Great tone for the size. Got a good deal (discontinued pattern?) and though I was a little skeptical about what kind of tone to expect, I was very happy with it right out of the box. I did change the tuning somewhat, after a while, but that just comes down to personal preference. I'm very happy with it.

Good quality construction, lightweight, reasonable sound. Bass is good and has a slap most people can get without any training. Sound is not too tinny. Way better (and Lighter) than the old Remo mondo heads. great for community drum circles

Purchased this for our son more than 5 years ago. It is still in great shape and sounds just as good as it did when new.

This is a quality drum at a great price!very lightweight. deep bass and crisp slaps. very easy to tune and strap.I would most def purchase this drum again.

Great quality. Has a slightly tinny sound when doing open tones, but I think that’s just this type of drum.

It's not a synthetic head as described . I've just received it and am disappointed to see its clearly goat skin. The label says so too.
