My toddler was sneaking into our pantry with a pocket door to eat candy and things before everyone woke up. I had no idea how I could lock the pocket door. I found this on Amazon. It installed easily and functions perfectly. Even narrow enough the pocket door opens and closes seamlessly when unlocked. Perfect lock!

Most of my closet doors are somewhat heavy but there is one wooden one that my newest cat kept getting open and crashing around in in the middle of the night. This was a great quick fix - it works in both directions.

My youngest cat is very determined and athletic, so we can't leave treats and certain toys out in the open and I have to hide them in the closet in the office since we play with him in there often. The closet has sliding doors, and while it took him quite a few months, he has figured out how to open those sliding doors to get to his delicious treats.This has been amazing at stopping him from breaking in and tearing up treat pouches across the house. It's easy to install and use, and doesn't look super ugly if you're not able to place it in a spot that isn't eye-level.The lock itself is movable/reusable if you have extra fasteners, like 3M adhesive hanging strips. You'll need a blow dryer, or something to heat up the included adhesive backing so that you can pull it off of the door. It's not hard to do, it just takes time to heat up the adhesive to make it soft enough to pull off and prevent damage.

Only lock i could find for sliding closet door. Keeps the cat out. Strong bond and works well.

I wouldn't rely on this to keep children safe. The tape that they send with it doesn't hold very strong. It will pop off if the door or window is opened hard enough. I use it to keep my cats out of the closets. Although it is a great idea and design. Easy to install and use.

Wanted this our pantry but didn’t want to have it remove paint so we currently use it on our sliding glass door and it works great!

This has been the best solution to keep my cat out of my closet and getting hair all over my clothes. So easy to use. I have not tried removing them, so I can't speak to that.

Within seconds of attaching to our heavy sliding closet doors, my three year old slid the door and this thing ripped off and took chunks of paint with it.Not an old door, not a super human 28# lady. So annoyed.

Perfect shape and size, but it's fallen off twice now and all thats nudging the door is gravity and a medium dog.

The adhesive torn the wall when the door was accidentally opened. Perhaps my barn doors are too heavy for these.
