I’ve tried several different brands of wall anchors, and these are my favorite. They are really slim and thus do not require a giant hole in your wall, yet they can hold up to 20 pounds with the smallest size. They also work well on the ceiling to hang a small plant hook.

We used these for pretty much everything in our home and they are amazing! Previously we had used anchors that are essentially the same thing but not as good and didn’t hold when out cat claimed the curtains lol or when we actually put a towel on the towel rod! Any anchors we tried just slipped right back out of the drywall when tugged on at all. These anchors fixed tha issue. They hold very securely and we did drill small holes to put the anchor in first but they simply tap in and hold great! I’m ordering the largest pack I can now that I have found something that works these are the only ones I am using for now on :)

I’m using these to fix holes where stair railing goes. I can’t believe how easy they are to insert and how well they stay put. When I was hanging curtains the ones from the big box stores didn’t work and I had to remove and fix a lot of big holes.

If you've been using the anchors included in hardware kits, get ready - THESE WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING! These are life changers - they are the ONLY thing I've found that works for heavier hanging items on plaster walls. Back in 2013 I originally found a similar anchor-type to this at Home Depot ("Sharkies"); once they stopped carrying them, I switched over to this Toggle brand. They look identical, and for all intents and purposes, I think of them as being identical. I have no negatives whatsoever about this product, I've even gifted them to friends and family.

If you are having problems with anchors slipping, or not holding in place - this anchors performs perfectly. Additionally, the quality per item per shipment was very high - didn't have a deformed anchor or tipless screw in any of the packages. These anchors (and I bought AF5, AF6, and AF8) are well worth keeping in your anchor box. One further comment - screw-in anchors create a giant hole much more difficult to patch - drill these to the size specified with each anchor size and they are nice small clean installations.

Toggler Alligator anchors are the best. They hammer in smoothly; they don't twist when you screw in the fastener; you can tighten the fastener without worrying about the anchor stripping; and they hold stuff in place without that worrying wiggle that other anchors give you. Keep a supply or AF5's and AF6's around, and you'll have a great anchor of the right size available when you need it. [FYI: I'm not paid by the manufacturer, and my brother-in-law doesn't own the company. I'm an impartial DIY homeowner.]

Great product - worked perfectly for our new curtains and much better than the hardware that came with the curtains!

Worked really well for what I needed. Used them to put up metal brackets in a tile bathroom wall to hold a marble shelf. They felt very solid.
