I use it under a document shredder to reduce the sound transmittence through the apartment floor. Works great

I bought this for my walking pad since my downstairs neighbor complained about vibrations when I used the walking pad. I put the treadmill/walking pad on a carpet and placed the four pads underneath the treadmill. Unfortunately, it did not solve the noise and vibration issue for my downstairs neighbor. I would not recommend.
