It's very simple to assemble and it works like a charm. It supports whatever I'm cutting without moving and my saw fits easily. This is the best stand I've ever had and I'd buy it again if I ever needed a new one.Save your money on the overly expensive stands, this one does it all. I'm very pleased with my purchase. The best part is the adjustable rollers to support your wood. They're easily extended and it's easy to slide your wood to exactly where you need it.

This fits standard size compound miter saws with no issues. I was able to attach my Dewalt 779 sliding compound miter (see pictures) with heavier duty washers. The saw bolts to the quick release brackets.I love that it comes with extendable rollers. They extend out as well as up/down. The balance of the unit is fair and it doesn’t seem to wobble at all. Only issue is weight. This unit weighs in much higher than the Aluminum Dewalt branded stands. However, they also cost more than double what this one does; the trade off is more than worth the weight.

Comes with all the hardware you need to mount your miter saw. The mounting brackets have feet, so if you want to use your saw on a bench sometime, it sits well on a flat surface when it's not mounted to the stand.I have an older (80's?) Craftsman model that has a triangular base (3 mounting holes instead of 4). So I had to bolt it to a piece of 1/2" plywood, then attach the brackets to the wood. Works just fine.Stand folds up pretty quickly, and is much lighter and more compact than other miter stands. Fits easily in the cargo area of my small SUV, crossways. Takes up less floor space than one with wheels. Actually light enough to hang for storage.

After years of using a bulky, difficult to move miter saw stand I made myself, I finally bought the Tomax miter saw stand. It folds up so nicely for storage, it's relatively lightweight so it's easy to move around and take with me when needed, and it does its job very well!There was a slight issue with one of the adjustment knobs, but I contacted customer service and they got right on it and helped fix my issue quickly and efficiently! It's rare that I ever call CS, and when I do it's rare that I have a good experience. This was amazing - I'll definitely be looking to see what else Tomax may sell that I may not know I need yet...

I use this with a small 7 1/4 miter saw and that's about all I would put on this honestly.The little metal spring clip parts that make the quick attach work fell out the very first time I used this and I lost them within a week, so I wouldn't trust this with the weight of a real 10" or 12" miter.I like the weight of this, its nice and compact but still really stout but the quick attach fell short for me, Id grab some better quality quick attach and just use the body.

Look. If anyone buys this expecting contract Grade quality, you're wildly optimistic. BUT with that said, for the price point, this thing is perfect. Every piece works as should, the quick release system is strong and sturdy. My 10Inch Hitatchi Miter fits like a dream. The entire Miter stand just does what it's supposed to and is pretty solid for Home project use. Keep the price point that you're buying this at in mind, its a steal for the price. My friend has the Hitatchi Stand that runs about $140 and I would compare it directly that that. BUT I have also used Dewalt stands and this is a lot lower quality. All in all, for the price you're getting a great around the house use bargin. Love mine, strongly recommend for the DIY'ers out there.

This stand was easy to assemble and very rigid. I’m happy with this purchase. The reason this product gets four stars is because the quality of the threads for the adjustment knobs are poorly threaded. I had to re-thread two of the four. But solid product overall.
