Edit: the customer service was excellent and first reached out to me just asking how the product was and i expressed a worry I had about a joining nut for the arm. They fixed my worry and updated their equipment, sending me a modified (longer) nut for FREE! I am fairly certain they adjusted that feature for the other microscopes they are still selling. I appreciated that greatly since it was more of a worry than any real issue, the original works fine, i just felt like it didn't have very must wiggle room. Everything came professionally packed. It is slightly tricky to set up (attaching a joining nut) , but the directions explain it perfectly. The camera is in as real time as i can see and the frame rate is adjustable. The Digital zoom works great and maintains crispness m IMO indicating a higher resolution than what the screen provides zoomed out. This product is worth the money.

Good camera, a little shaky but very good for home lab.

Came without any missing or defective parts. Setup very quickly and works great. I bought it for help with electronics soldering. It works great for that purpose. I was going to buy a conventional stereo microscope for this purpose but this product fits the bill better I think. Allows you to take images/movies to document your work. This unit is much lower cost than a conventional type of microscope I was considering. I am very happy with this purchase.

The stand is terrible, it is very wobbly and I was unable to get the top joint tight enough to prevent the microscope from nodding as I tried to work. Image quality is good if you can get it to hold still. I only used the wide angle lens, can't imagine how bad it would be a higher magnification. Also keep in mind that there is zero depth of field with this type of microscope so if you need something for assembly work you'd be better served by an old school optical stereo microscope.
