I've been using this product for 2 weeks to store my bassoon reeds. I rotate my reeds each day when I practice. To prolong the life of my reeds, I never play on the same reed for more than an hour each day. This case keeps all of my reeds ready to play. I still soak them prior to playing; however, I only soak them for a minute. With this case, my reeds are definitely more responsive and stable.
