I actually used duct tape and attached this mat to the underside of the glass Tim Holtz mat. The smaller magnets do not work great with doing this, but that is to be expected.

Great for use with stencils - the magnets are really strong so that the stencils do not move.

The board is made of metal which is firm and stong and does not bend.The magnets keeps everything firmly in place and nothing moves i also use 2 of my own strong magnets as well because 4 magnets are much better to work with if you got a lot of paper and stencil to keep in place.

Maybe I should have read more, but to me a 'magnetic crafters platform' means that the mat itself is magnetic, so it will hold things like tiny screws in place so i dont lose themTurns out its just coasted metal and the two magnets you get with it stick to metal.. so technically this is"A metal crafters platform + Magnets"
