How It Works
Pop a Tonie on top of the Toniebox
Tonies are characters that feature content, stories and songs from an ever-growing collection of modern favorites and timeless classics. Putting a Tonie on top of the Toniebox starts the audio experience. Swapping stories is as simple as changing the Tonie on your Toniebox. (And if your child takes a Tonie off mid-story or song, it will restart at the same place when it’s put back on!)
Give it a pinch. Give it a tilt. Give it a tap.
The Toniebox is intuitively controlled by your child. Pinch the little ear to turn the volume down. Pinch the big ear to turn the volume up. Tilt the box left and right to fastforward and rewind. Give the box a firm pat on the side to skip audio tracks.
Get creative & stay connected
With Creative-Tonies you can record up to 90 minutes of custom content. Simply record and upload through the mytonies app. Whether you’re uploading favorite songs or recording a custom message, the only limits are the bounds of your imagination. Creative-Tonies are a great way for parents and grandparents to stay in touch with little loved ones from afar. On the app, we’ll also bring you free digital content, so that there’s always something new!
Parents Keep Control
Just connect the Toniebox to WiFi to start your listening adventure. It’s an easy one-time setup using the mytonies app, where the parents are always in control. The app allows parents to easily adjust settings like maximum volume and access rights, in addition to uploading content to Creative-Tonies. Rest easy knowing your little one’s Toniebox is totally safe and secure.

I got the Toniebox Audio Player Starter Set (Purple) for my 4-year-old and 2-year-old, and it’s been an absolute hit in our household! I got this set for my 18 month old niece. She can work it better than I can and she loves it! At night when we’re all winding down watching tv she’ll disappear into her room. We’ll find that she has put herself to bed by turning on a Tunie, laying on the floor with her blanket and passing out! She sings along and dances and listens to the stories. It’s magical!

My Grand daughter is 17 months and she loves this! Once set up its so simple to use. She can play with it all by herself and knows what to do. Even turns it on and off by herself!

People go back & forth on whether this is worth the money but it is!! Everything about it is child-user friendly. Any child can easily turn the volume up or down, easily switch songs/stories, easily switch characters. & even the charging is child friendly because it just sits on the charger. It is also soft on the outside & easy for kids to carry. My daughter absolutely loves it! Plus it can be used with headphones or without. With a carrying case it is perfect for road trips as well.

I bought this as a Christmas gift but was bought several months ago. I just gave it to my grand daughter and it initially turned on but will no longer work and she just got it today. I buy things in advance so this is the first time it is out of the box and didn’t last a day. Very frustrated with this. I bought 2 one fir each grandchild and theywere not cheap for one not to work and cannot return fir a replacement.As of 12/12 they are sending me a new one and a return label to send back the one that did not work to exchange it. I am very pleased. They reached out in timely manner and are honoring their product with an exchange. I am very happy with that

We purchased Dec 16,2024 and received near Christmas by Feb 1,2025 it is regularly switching off saying low battery even after being charged all night or being on the charger. It plays 20 minutes max each time then shuts off. Never used without adult supervision and has never been played with roughly as it stays on the shelves. Such a disappointment!
