A little short but, I didn’t use an air hammer with it like it’s designd for so that’s on me. I used this to remove a sprocket bushing on a cd4e transmission that was worn out. A couple of minutes with this bushing splitter and the 1.5lb hammer and it neatly split the bushing. The tip was and still is sharp and it didn’t gouge the metal under the bushing. The busing was peeled back away from the tool as it was being split so it never got in the way. Neither the tip nor the end I was smacking show any flat spots or gouges.

I was rebuilding a 91 4L80E GM transmission. I am a amateur mechanic and I did not know how to use it. Some instructions would be nice. Use the small cutter to cut bushings. I had to sharpen and use a hammer too control. I should have bought a bushing chisel.

Tool worked prefect to remove Ford cd4e bushing. In my haste I order 2 tools. I had to return one fully knowing I had to pay for the shipping cost after I receive my initial refund and about two weeks later the seller also refunded me the shipping cost and they did not have to it was my mistake.
