Nothing wrong with this belt. Enough pockets for me. The leather ones cost more and this one is fine for me. Exactly what I need. I'm not a carpenter so I don't know if this one is right for them or not.

Great tool belt for the casual DIYer! This belt probably isn't going to hold up to working all day everyday on a jobsite, but it's perfect for the occasional home project. I used it recently while helping a friend hang curtain rods. I could easily fit my level, tape measure, and stud finder in the pockets with tons of room to spare. The magnets work surprisingly well for holding onto screws and bits while keeping them at easy access! Women's clothes have little to no pockets so this is great for holding all of the odds and ends, especially while going up and down a ladder over and over again!

Well built heavy canvass carpenter's belt. I clipped and seered the edge. That way it tucks in easily to the other end of the belt when buckling.

I needed a new tool belt and looked for a long time. Found all types of styles in all different price ranges. This bag seemed a nice compromise so I gave it a try. Turned out to be a great purchase. The belt is nicely padded with lots of holes so it fits great. There are plenty of pockets in various sizes so there is plenty of storage options. Definitely worth looking at if you are looking for a tool belt
