It came in a simple draw string felt pouch with instructions for crown molding. I guess standard base moldings do not require detailed instructions. Simply place on the wall and read the gauge.It is made of aluminum instead of the similarly priced plastic protractors. The edges were machined well but were not rounded and as a result a little sharp.I would recommend this product....Good Luck

Solid, thick aluminum. Lowest price around at nine dollars. Has sharp edges, otherwise is very nicely made. Looks like it will last me a very long time. Highly recommending this one, but either break the sharp edges or handle with care.

I used this angle finder on my first baseboard project and it worked so well, I LOVED it. A must tool for miter/angle cuts. Great quality too...!

I got a brand name one 4 times the price and lost it. Ordered this one and one that was double the price of this and all three brands are Identical tools with different labels. Really this one I was happy because it came with a cloth carry bag and the others didn't.

In my particular instance at least, the protractor appears accurate. Comparable 'value line' protractors are generally plastic; this is all aluminium and supplied with a handy storage pouch. However, similarly in my instance, the tool did make and awful screeching sound when rotated which transpired to be due to an unlubricated friction 'O-ring' internally. Applying a very light smear of oil eliminated this (having removed hex screw). Overall, good for the money.

Stelle ich auf der eine Skala 45 Grad ein sollte auf der außeren Skala auch exakt 90 Grad stehen. Steht aber auf 91 Grad. Sieht man auch auf der Bildern in der Beschreibung. Habe mir eine Version direkt aus China bestellt, da stimmt die Skala und sie hat 1/3 gekostet.
