The product does work as intended and the button does smoothly work. However, when you insert toothpicks they can get positioned in an awkward way where the toothpick holder can either get stuck on closing or the toothpicks get stuck on the lid. This has deformed some toothpicks on closing. Also, this open/close design is less sanitary compared to the more conventional toothpick dispensers you would find at a restaurant since the user's hand would inevitably touch the surrounding toothpicks as they use it.

My husband loves his toothpicks so this is perfect for him. The dispenser hold a lot of toothpicks and I like that it’s covered to keep them dust free.

I could fit a small number in there but if you try to fill it up even half way, they don’t fit because the angle makes them too long for the container. Kind of hard to explain.

Really nice chrome finish. Holds about half a box of supermarket picks. Little fiddly to fill but because it holds so many, it’s not an issue. Love the way a press allows the picks to lift up. Pleased with purchase.
