I bought this for my husband as a 26th wedding anniversary gift, of course he's picky and picked this model out so I made sure to get him the correct one. We have older cars and he likes to repair them himself and he said this is a useful tool to have. He loved it and said he can use this to find the air leaks in our house and garage so he can fix them and save us money on repairs. The following words are his review as he knows more about it than me. Happy husband here. This unit is really neat. My wife had a car issue where she said it would not go over 45 mph. The steering wheel was also shaking. This could be caused by a lot of issues but I heard the right front of the car ticking like a catylitc convertor makes when it's cooling down. I had just received this a few days before and took a reading of the front tire area and it was 400 degrees! I checked the opposite tire and it was only 108 degrees, so I knew I had a stuck caliper and repaired it. This could be used to check your wheels for dragging brakes that would be costing you lower gas mileage. For fun I checked the rear tires and they were within 4 degrees of each other and running cool. I then used this to look for cool spots in my ceiling and wow, you can actually see where the rafters are! The wall near the top of the ceiling looks to not be insulated well and I will have to go up there and better insulate it. This is very accurate as I can actually take a temperature reading on a human and see the results. It also does video which can really be useful to record a complete room in one shot versus taking multiple pictures. Would be cool if this had a microphone where you could record comments during the video, maybe on the TC006 version? Even did a test on an engine looking for any hot spots. This can be helpful finding a pulley bearing that is running hot or a cylinder that has a miss and is running cooler. This thing is built like a beast and should last for years. I know it will help me repair cars and save us money for years to come. I'm glad I told my wife this was the model I needed. Have had good luck with other Topdon products in the past too.

TOPDON　TC005を使えば今まで見えなかったものが見えてきます。熱画像も専用アプリ「ＴＤView」により撮影後も画面内の温度を調べられます。TC005は可視光カメラを持っているので、熱画像と比較すれば調査レポートも作成しやすくなりますね。内蔵バッテリーは十分な容量があります。忘れた頃に充電を。画質も問題なく細かな部分まで読み取れます。動画も問題なく撮影できプレゼンに最適です。ただ、構造上の問題なんですが、画面の見た目と実際の撮影場所にズレが出てしまうことに注意さえすればおすすめの機種です。皆さんも書かれているように大きいです。

購入して、後に書いているような不具合が発生していましたが、サポートメールを受けて対応したところ改善したので再評価します。改善方法的には画像校正を行う といった内容で、サポートメールを受ける前から画像校正機能があるのは知っていましたが、選択すると画面に表示された文字を読み切る前に勝手にスクロールされてしまうために諦めていました。勝手にスクロールされる状態はファームウェアをアップデートしても変わらないので、今も勝手にスクロールされてしまいます そこが修正されて欲しい気がします。サポートメールはもちろん日本語でいただけました英語ができない自分にとっては大変助かりますパソコンを使ったソフトの方も軽くいじくってみましたが、まあ一部ちょっとよくわからないような機能もありますが、自分が使うには十分です水で濡れた床や天井、これからの時期に使う電熱服などので発熱状態とか、抵抗の発熱状態など目視で箇所が分かるのは大変便利です。他の方も言っていますが、充電すれば電池の持ちは十分にあります。欲を言えば同時に撮影出来る写真、こちらの画像がもっと綺麗だったらなと思います以下当初あった不具合自分の使い方ならそんなに問題がないが、画面４隅に20度前後の温度があり、最高温度点の表示が温度の低いものの時に左下にいてしまている(多分、器具本体の温度が入ってきているのだと思うが)

可視光カメラ画像を合成できるタイプなので、モニターのサイズも大きく、出力は鮮明です。USB接続なら、Webカメラとして使用するモードもあるので、画面キャプチャで連続データ取得が可能です。ただ出力形式が特殊なのか、Windowsのカメラアプリでは取れません。当方はOBSStudioでキャプチャしました。巷にある非接触温度計ぐらいのサイズを想像していたらふた周りぐらい大きいです。グリップ底部に三脚穴もありますので固定可能ですが、頭でっかちなので、バランスを考慮する必要があります。

I have a Flir entry C series infrared camera. I did a lot of research before upgrade. Finally I decide to choose TOPDON instead of Flir E series which is much more expensive.The reason I choose TC005 is because it has two cameras including an infrared camera and a visual camera. I used to use infrared camera to capture both visual and thermal images to describe both temperature difference and the location.TC005 is a good product that is sensitive to temperature. Long battery life. Competitive price. However, for my personal demand, still disappointing in some aspects.1, temperature reading is not accurate.The reading is relatively higher than actural temperature. For example, when I test the temperature in my hand, it will show above 37℃. Everyone knows we cannot just hold a thermometer to read body temperature.2, The data sheet said it has 20Hz frame rate. I compared with my Flir C2, which is 9Hz, and surprisingly I don't see noticeable difference in view mode.3, in iMIX view mode, which overlays both infrared and visual images, it is always misaligned. I have never had this problem with my Flir C2. Actually, you can reduce the misalignment by manually set a distance from object to camera in the menu. But, in real situation, the distance from the object to me always changes and I won't do the adjustment every time.4, even TC005 have two cameras, you still can not capture both infrared and visual image at the same time even in iMIX mode. You will only get one image after triggering the capture. The only way to seprate two images is to upload the picture to computer and use their software to export to either infrared or visual picture. Be very careful when you export picture to the same folder, the new picture will automatically overwrite the original one without any prompt. I have contacted their service team, no solution yet.5, no indicator light when charging. I don't know when it will be fully charged. Maybe two to five hours.After several months break-in period, I still take both Flir C2 and TC005 in my tool bag. I use Flir to capture picture. I use TC005 only detect temperature difference. Hope my experiance will help anyone who have similar demands as me to do more research before purchase.
