The plastic become so brittle in cold weather so the original fender broke off and became lost. I added reinforcement to the Amazon fender with a brass strip attached to the mounting screw and pop riveted to the fender itself. I think it will help by adding strength to the mounting system. I like the fender the reason I bought exact replacements. A stainless steel reinforcement strip might be better material. Hopefully this will help someone

I put this on my Sur-Ron and it lasted 1 ride. The front fender flew off. It's only is attached to a cheap and flimsy clip that broke (plastic). Maybe it's okay for paved trails but definitely not single track or speeds above 35 MPH. Installation required trimming of the backside fender. The cheap plastic holders allowed the fender to move around.

I received mine with a slight twist in the fender which may have been a seller issue. I was never able to bend the test back out but it wasn't bad enough to keep it from working fine just kinda ugly. I put this fender through its paces. Riding daily for about a month or two collectively. The stitching on the nylon strap broke. I'm gonna try to sew it back together. Pretty good fender, too bad it broke. Never really made noise or rattled. Kept me dry

This is the best fender I have found for mounting WITHOUT damaging your fork / stickers on the fork. Great product. I had to modify it with my dremel, but it fits perfectly and is very solid after tightening. Great value.

I bought this a few months ago, it broke on me. And is no longer eligible for return or replacement.It was fairly easy to mount except for the fact that the bolt receiving nut is just molded into the plastic. So I was nervous about tightening it. It then loosened after a few rides and ultimately fell out. This in traffic can be a serious hazard. I eventually learned I better verify and 'shove it back up' my steering tube before every ride.I took it off for the bike shop, and when I tried to put it back on the receiving nut completely seized up. Stripped the plastic it was molded into and also snapped one of the little flimsy plastic tabs that should keep it in alignment. It's trash now.Their rear fender mount is also very unreliable and hard to get right.I give it two stars, because the shape and place of the fenders (both front and rear) are great, but they need metal and alloy parts in places where any forces may apply. And WAY better design of the mounts.

I have these mounted on 2 of my bikes now. Great option for full suspension bikes as they don’t require stays on the swing arm or fork at the wheel hub. I will be buying more as space allows for more bikes.
