I got the seatpost MTX rack for my cyclocross bike, and since I ride it through snow & rain, I thought the rack alone would be like a fender, but my bag got covered in mud, so I got the fender and it's much better. Plus the person riding behind me doesn't get pelted in the face.Easy instal, works with my little blackburn flea light, but if you do have a light that hangs low, it's might push it down a bit. look on your rack, that little tab on the bottom connects to it, so you'll have to make the call.

I was concerned,while still in Africa, that the item won't fit onto my bike waiting in Europe. Well, it fits by micron, no wonder: it is American design not inferior Chinese junk. Regardless where manufactured, it obviously was supervised by trustful American watch. Thanks Topeak.

snaps right onto my QR topeak rack like it belonged there all the time. Stops road-grunge roostertail dead in its tracks. weighs almost nothing. Doesn't add too much length either so isn't in the way when the bicycle transportation issue comes up

I bought and am comparing both the Topeak MTX rack solution as well as the one from Ibera. So far I give Ibera a slight edge for their waterproof rack back and panniers BUT I think the Topeak is incredibly well designed and built. It screams quality to me. And the way the fender fits the MTX rack is simply perfect. To be honest, you cannot go very wrong with either Topeak or Iberia bike racks based on my product assessments. Topeak’s fendor gets a chef’s kiss though.

I have this attached to my Topeak rack and bag, and it's great. I got caught in the rain during my commute for the first time last week. After 30 minutes of riding thru the rain and mud, it kept me and my bag clean. Unlike the other cyclists I saw that had a big brown stripe on their backs. Even though it's easy to remove, I leave it on all the time because it's inconspicuous.

Mounted it on my MTX Beam rack with side panniers, and it took all of 4 minutes. Comes with allen head screws, and fits snuggly into place. Rigid plastic, that sticks out just as far as the waterbottle on my Topeak bag, but it protects everything, and keeps me and my gear a skosh drier. Definately worth it.

Functionality is there however the small factory cut out for the lights and reflectors shown in the picture is misaligned. I have two Topeak MTX Beam Racks, E and V type. There is only one place to mount the inner mount and the cut out does not align with either of the rack's reflector and/or light mount. Everything still sits and functions fine just doesn't fit as designed.
