Worked like a charm & extractors showed no wear whatsoever (ie, were not cheap throwaways). Assume this kit will last me the next 20-25 years or until I die. Good value for the money.

I tried several other products & it would not budge. The apparent difference is: These sockets have a 'swirled' design inside that bits in better and the interior of the socket seems to be tapered so the more you pound it in the more snug it becomes. My advice is if u try it and the socket spins off, try again but hammer it in deeper. My came right off on 2nd try.

Misplaced my security lug nut to take off my front wheels. I was spaying my chassis with rubber undercoat and that’s when I could not find the lock nut key. To start working on my upper and lower ball joints. I had watched video to take my lug nut off, but I wasn’t going to make noises and upset the dogs.

I purchased to remove a stuck lug nut. After hammering the correct socket onto the stuck lug nut with an air hammer socket driver I put on a ratchet with a long cheater bar and easily removed it. Very good socket

The couple of times I've used it, it worked great. Hammer on the right size and turn the lug nuts right off. Used on round head lock nuts.

The set was delivered and it was missing the both extension pieces. Tried to use the sockets on a wheel lock and the socket stripped right away. The tool metal was softer than the wheel lock. Complete garbage. I ultimately just hammered a regular 1/2 socket over the lock nut and got it off that way. Don't waste your money on this cheap chinese garbage.

I had a seized tow hook bolt on my 22 year old Toyota. The 17mm bolt was completely rounded by my sockets. Pounded this 17mm on and got it out. Awesome . . So relieved I don't have to do any cutting or grinding. .

My son secondhand Nissan pick up had two locking lug nuts. Our local tire shop said we had to go to the dealer which is over 60 miles away for us. I ordered these and with a little WD-40 and an impact wrench the lock nuts spin right off. I am very happy with these and not sure if I’ll ever use them again but now if I need them, I’ll have them.

"Like many others have mentioned, my tire technician used a power tool to tighten the security lug, which caused it to wear out. When it came time to switch the wheels, the lug was stripped and stuck. However, after hammering this tool on and applying some force, I was able to remove the lug successfully. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with similar issues. Worked perfectly on my 2014 BMW 328d."

It was really helpful. Make sure you have a torque bar if it seems stuck.
