Passive attenuator with 20:1 attenuation, if input a 20V , it can output a 1V . Because the is attenuated, by using this item, oscilloscope can measure voltage higher than its range(±20V). When used in an oscilloscope to measure an inductive , such as a jet nozzle and a primary ignition, it provides enhanced input overload . Don't use it for secondary ignition tests.

If you need 100% accuracy this is not the item you may want although for the DYRer its perfect for the price and easy to use for the price.
